Strollers and metal baby carriers are not permitted on the tour route. If needed, you can leave your stroller at the castle entrance (in the ticket office). Our staff can provide baby carriers depending on availability (ID required). For your convenience, we recommend bringing a front-facing baby carrier for your visit.
A changing table is available in the toilets located just behind the exhibition room dedicated to the history of jeu de paume, at the level of the inner courtyard.
Yes, lockers/storage facilities are available, subject to availability, in the exhibition hall.
Be prepared, the temperature in the castle varies with the seasons. In summer, it can get hot inside, so remember to bring water. You can refill your containers on site. If needed, bottled water is available for purchase from a vending machine. Conversely, it can get cold in the castle in winter.
Eating and drinking are not permitted on the tour route inside the castle.
However, a picnic area is located in the upper parking lot, under the trees. Accessible year-round, it is equipped with tables, recycling bins, and a compost bin. It's a very pleasant place to sit down for a meal or a snack.
If needed, a vending machine is available at the entrance to the castle (drinks + sweet snacks).
