Discovery Tour: Castle Life

A guided tour to understand the medieval fortress and its defensive system, then its transformation into a beautiful residence in the 16th and 18th centuries.

    A closer look at tennis, dancing, and bowing… And what were the proper manners for receiving guests, applying makeup, and sitting down to eat? An interactive tour where everyone can participate.

  • The architecture of the castle
    How was this medieval fortress built? What were the techniques, tools, materials and builders? A visit to discover the architecture (vault, bridge, arches, towers, staircase).

A day at the castle

What if you spent the whole day at the castle of Suze-la-Rousse? Plan your day with a visit or activity in the morning and afternoon. If you wish to attend 2 classes, the day's program will be applied alternately.
