The Château de Suze-la-Rousse is a listed historical monument. The feasibility and execution of accessibility work there are subject to strict regulations.

Improvements have recently been made to facilitate access for people with motor disabilities, as well as for the many visitors who have difficulty walking.

The Renaissance courtyard is accessible, as are the Jeu de Paume exhibition hall and the main entrance hall. An elevator located behind the Reception/Ticket Office provides access to the visitor route on the first floor of the castle.

This facility is functional and the reception staff are available, but it is strongly advised to be accompanied when coming to and visiting the castle, as access may remain difficult in some areas.

For visually impaired people, tactile devices, educational furniture to touch, and explanations in braille are available throughout the tour route.
Our team is here to help you, please feel free to contact us.
