Here are some practical tips to ensure your visit goes smoothly this summer:
> Adjust your visiting schedule to the extreme heatrs for example, by favouring the morning.
> Have a water bottle to stay hydrated regularly.
A free drinking water fountain is available in the castle. In hot weather, take the opportunity to refill your water bottles.
> Apply sunscreen et cover up with light clothing, wear a cap or a hat.

Due to the extreme heat, the conditions for visiting the castle have been adapted to ensure you receive the best possible welcome:

The grounds of Suze-la-Rousse castle are in a red zone. All vehicle traffic is prohibited in the grounds , and pedestrian access is strongly discouraged. We remind you that smoking and fires are strictly prohibited in the park.
As such, the activities offered in this space are temporarily suspended: sulky rides, fun trails "In search of the animals of the warren" and "The little naturalist".
